Vendor
Management Services:
For
a customer who currently has,
or may have, several vendors
for the purposes of Recruiting
contract and permanent employees
for their various organizations.
UpStream offers a valuable service
to manage these vendors that
would help streamline the overall
process. If pre-existing vendor
relationships exist, not to
worry, we partner with your
vendor to ensure you keep your
relationship. Although UpStream
serves as the primary contact,
and would perform recruiting
services, we would
utilize your partnerships, and
UpStream’s, with

sub-vendors’ to ensure all of the positions
are being filled quickly and efficiently to
meet and exceed your expectations. In addition,
UpStream would assist, if necessary, to eliminate
unwanted, unproductive, or unethical 3rd Party
Vendors or add key 3rd Party resources to
maximize productivity and cost savings to
our customer.
Also, depending on the specific requirements
of our customer, and the volume projected,
UpStream could offer our customer all or some
of the following as part of its Managed Services
Program:

Recruiting:
Our customer
supplies the job requirements, UpStream
supplies the qualified candidate based on
the specific needs of our customer. Currently,
UpStream has a pre-existing and established
staff of experienced recruiters, in addition
to a variety of proven tools and resources
to handle any needs or requirements outlined
by our customer. Additionally, UpStream
also has pre-existing partnerships and agreements
with competitors to ensure we have the available
resources to fill your requirements. UpStream
Technologies, and its key partners’,
offer Recruitment and Staffing services

UpStream, and its
partners’, offer employment terms
of Contract Only (a.k.a. Temp), Contract
to Hire, or Permanent Direct Placement of
candidates depending on what our customer
requires.
UpStream has
an aggressive screening process to ensure
all candidates meet the requirements of
our customer. In addition, we demand our
partners’ adhere to our screening
standards. An example of our standard screening
process includes face-to-face interviews
prior to presentation to our customer, verifying
previous employment, obtaining professional
references, verifying education and/or certifications.
Also, depending on the customer requirements,
UpStream could initiate criminal background
investigations or driving inquiries. UpStream
takes all screening extremely serious to
ensure our customer is satisfied with the
candidate, and will customize its process
to meet the needs of the customer.
Billing:
When client’s deal with several
vendors or sub-vendors, the billing can
become quite difficult and confusing. UpStream
provides billing consolidation where the
client, regardless of how many different
vendors are being utilized, will receive
one bill from UpStream to include all of
the billing.
An example of
our billing process would be: Sub-Vendors
would invoice UpStream Technologies. UpStream
will consolidate all invoices and present
one invoice to our client. Our client will
pay UpStream Technologies for the consolidated
invoice, and UpStream would then pay all
approved sub-vendors.
- Consolidated Invoicing
to include UpStream, sub-vendor, and associated
fees on one invoice.
- Management of Billing
for Sub-Vendors to ensure agreed guidelines
are followed at all times, and sub-vendors
are paid accordingly.

Pricing:
A company who
currently uses two or more vendors for the
purposes of staffing, and who carefully
review their invoices, may find inconsistencies
in the prices they pay to vendors. Many
organizations may be paying a different
bill rate and mark-up for two individuals
doing the same thing. UpStream guarantees
a substantial cost savings to all its customers
as we offer:
- Standard Negotiated
Bill Rate Percentage Mark-Up. No hidden
fees, no surprises. Our client will know
exactly what they are paying for.
- Fixed Pay Rate
Ranges for Contractors depending on requirements
of job description to ensure consistency
and maintenance so contractor’s
stay within current market values.
- A Contract
to Hire standard to include FREE placement
to any contractor who completes Three
or Six months of service as a contractor.
UpStream does not hold its contract employees
“hostage” and encourages direct
placement.
Payroll Services:
Customers may
find their own candidate through a referral
or their own internal process. However,
for a variety of different reasons, which
could be company internal, or candidate
driven, a contract or contract to hire may
be warranted. We offer a successful Payroll
Services Program to put them on UpStream
Payroll and have them start working for
you immediately. Some advantages of our
payroll services program are:
- UpStream
will accept liability and full responsibility
of the candidate, e.g. Workman’s
Compensation, Unemployment Insurance,
Liability Insurance, Confidentiality Agreements,
etc.
- The candidate would
be eligible, depending on expected length,
to participate in UpStream’s Benefit
Program, e.g. Medical, Dental, Vision,
Life, Retirement, Vacation, Paid Holiday,
etc.
- Reduce the customer
rate of turnover if the candidate chooses
to leave or if the customer chooses to
have UpStream dismiss the employee.
- Offer Direct
Permanent Employment at any time for no
fee and no minimum time requirement.
